Amcal Tooronga is a family business and has been at the Tooronga site in Glen Iris for over 45 years. We stock a large range of cosmetics and skincare products and also provide a vast range of health services to benefit our residents and our local community.

Specialist in home equipment used to test for a sleep condition called sleep apnoea
CPAP Equipment Trial – $250
4 week sleep trials and statistical analysis for sleep apnoea condtions
Blood Glucose (Sugar) Testing $5.00
Designed to assist those who have not got their blood glucose meter with them or to help those learning to use blood glucose monitors.
Blood Lipid (Cholesterol / Fats) testing $15.00
This finger prick test can be a helpful guide to how you are going with dietary modifications and medication between venous blood tests
INR recording Service – FREE
Our free service maintains records of your INR results when taking Wafarin medication.
Weight Management Programs – $10*
Our well trained staff are there to support and guide you on dietery needs, goals, diary records and more.

Diabetes Management
Vaccinations – PRICE VARIES
We are now offering an immunization service for adults over 16 years old for influenza, whoopping cough and (or all three) measles, mumps and rubella.
Iron testing – $10
With a simple finger prick we can check the Haemoglobin level on your body. Haemoglobin is a protein contained in red blood cells that binds to oxygen and takes oxygen from the lungs to all parts of the body.
Lung health check – $10
This includes breathing test that screen for chronic lung issues.
Asthma & inhaler check – $10
This measures the amount of air you can breathe in and out of your lungs and how hard and fast you can breathe out.
Medication Packaging service – $6 per week
[DVA subsidies available].
Home delivery service – Delivery Fees $5-$8 on a/c for purchases $50+.
We can deliver in the afternoon if ordered that morning. Available Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the local area.

We offer medication replacement services to patients requiring supervised doses and reduced dosing schedules. Payment options available.
